The universe has a funny way of giving you things want and sometimes, things that didn’t even know you wanted but needed. Recently I wrote an in-depth review on CoverGirl LashBlash Fusion Mascara (Read review HERE) and in that post I said that that was the first product I tried from the brand. And then just the other day, I was online shopping for new foundations when I saw the CoverGirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup. I thought it would be nice to try something new from the brand so I was contemplating whether to buy it or not – good thing I decided to pass up on it.
I was out shopping for Christmas gifts with my boyfriend yesterday.. and some belated birthday gift to myself. Oh yes, I turned 23 the other day. Thank you to those who greeted me through Facebook and Instagram. 🙂 Anyway, we came home to several packages and as usual, I was super giddy about surprise packages. I thought of them as late birthday gifts. HAHA.
What’ya know, the December BDJ Box is a CoverGirl-exclusive box! I’ll finally get to try more products from the brand. Yehey! I don’t know why but I’ve been itching to try more CoverGirl products ever since I reviewed the LashBlast Fusion Mascara. This box is a proof of the power of attraction and delayed gratification. I got the products that I wanted without even asking for it. I feel so blessed. <3
I’ve been getting a lot of question about BDJ Box lately – most of them from college schoolmates. If you still don’t know what it is and how it works, here goes: BDJ Box is a monthly subscription box. For the cost of Php580 per month, you’ll receive a random but well-curated beauty box that is worth a lot more than the amount initially paid. Yes, you won’t have any hint as to what you’ll receive but that’s the fun of it. And guessing from BDJ’s track record, I’ll say your money is safe with them. 🙂
Know more about these products after the jump. 🙂

Especially designed to match with the TruBlend Liquid Makeup. A lightweight formula that controls shine and doesn’t clog pores.”

*A BDJ Box exclusive. Available in stores on February 2015.
For the monthly subscription price of Php 580, I received 5 full-sized products worth Php 2,365 in total. That’s a complete basic makeup kit already! If they threw in a brow pencil and a lipstick, it would’ve been a complete kit. But in any case, I still think this month’s box as a whole is a big step up from last month’s all-sample Benefit Cosmetics-exclusive box. I’m sure I’d be getting a lot more of use out of this set. BDJ Box is on the right track. Two thumbs up! <3
