Late last month I was invited to Jazzy France’s product launching at Bossing’s Grill, BGC. Luckily, I didn’t have anything planned on the day of the event so I attended even if I had no prior knowledge of the brand. I tried searching for related reviews online but aside from their newly created Facebook Fan Page, not much information was available online. This got me really curious and a bit skeptical, to be honest.
But as it turns out, Jazzy France is actually what once was known as “James Cooper Jazzy Collection”. But since Mr. James Cooper, a highly acclaimed makeup artist here and in the US, is no longer with them, a complete brand overhaul needed to be done. Thus the birth of the brand now called Jazzy France. No wonder their “Jazzy” logo was so familiar to me! I used the James Cooper Cream Foundation and Eyebrow Gel in Frosted Brown [that was said to be a close dupe of the famous MAC GirlBoy Brow Set] when I was just building my makeup collection 2 or 3 years ago.
With the re-branding came another great product: Dame De Coeur. It is basically a multi-purpose product perfect for everyday use! It can be used both as a cheek tint and a lip tint as well. And through its buildable formula, it can be used as a natural tint on your cheeks or even as a lip-gloss with its inherent luster.
To ensure the safety of everyone who would use Jazzy France, they sought not one but 3 international accreditation namely: AIF, SGS and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). These certify that Jazzy France products are safe to use and are in compliance with excellent standards. You need not worry about lead contents or any harmful ingredients for that matter.
Here’s Abigail demonstrating how to use the Dame De Coeur in different ways. I actually sat beside her for a while after the demo so I got to see Dame De Coeur up close. I haven’t tried it on myself yet but I’ll tell you this much, her cheeks looked naturally flushed. It didn’t look forced or whatnot.
Dame De Coeur is available in Peach, Red and Orange. And because of its tri-color design in every pot, you’ll get a wide range of tones from mixing them.
Aside from the Dame De Coeur, I also got a few more products to try from Jazzy France. I can’t wait to start playing with the cream blush and foundation! Individual reviews will be posted soon so keep an eye out for that. 🙂 I really do hope they’d still carry the James Cooper Jazzy Collection cream foundation. That one was my favorite! <3
