As always, before another month ends, I’ll be sharing with you a quick rundown of the products – and other miscellaneous stuff – I’ve been abusing this month. I’ve discovered quite a lot of great products through blogging but since my skin and general preference on things change, so does my favorites. This post will be short and concise, swear. Let’s start! πŸ˜€
Mizon AHA & BHA Toner (Read review HERE)
I barely use this anymore but I have to admit, I owe a lot to this toner. Remember my skin’s “rough patch”? That breakout madness lasted for almost a month! Gaaahh, you can just imagine the pimple marks it left on my cheeks. Well, at least it’s all over now – all thanks to this AHA & BHA Toner from This is definitely a lifesaver!

Ruby Wing Nail Polish in Moonstone (Read review HERE)
This nail polish changes color under direct sunlight. It goes from pastel blue to purple. Err, need I say more? It’s awesome! ‘Nuff said. πŸ˜€
Celeteque Multi-Benefit BB Cream
I’ve already read a lot of good reviews on this product before I actually got my hands on it and to be honest, I never thought I’d like it. Well for one it has an obvious pink undertone which didn’t match mine and the consistency is quite thick. Surprisingly, I made it work – it looks really nice on my skin and it doesn’t cake. Good enough for me! For everyday use at least. Review to follow. πŸ˜‰
MAC Mineralized Concealer in NC35
I’ve had this for a while now but I’ve been putting aside writing the review simply because I couldn’t make it work for me before. Although the coverage is great, the shade is too dark to conceal and brighten my undereye area. I recently discovered a trick or two to make it last and not cake the entire day! I’ll share it with you on my in-depth review of this product. πŸ™‚ Anyway, I’ve been obsessing over this concealer the past 2 weeks so it definitely deserves a spot in my monthly faves. πŸ™‚
MAC Powder Blush in Hidden Treasure (Read review HERE)
Yep, another product from MAC but unlike the first one this blush was a no-brainer. I mean, I instantly fell in love with it.. I think that’s what they refer to as “love at first swatch”. LOL! Application can be tricky since it’s insanely pigmented but the deep brick red shade flatters my morena skintone in a way I never expected. It has been my go-to blush for almost a month now and I still love it to bits!
Naked Lips Lip Balm (Read review HERE)
I honestly take this wherever I go. I always make sure I have it in my bag just in case my lipstick/lip tint starts to bleed and cause my lips to crack. I love the bubblegum smell, the soft texture and its amazing moisturizing effect to the lips. Don’t believe me? Check out my previous and on-going giveaways.. I’ve been unloading some of my lip balm backups from other brands ever since I started using this. *wink!
Neat Brows & Va-va-voom Lashes! <3
Brow Threading at Lay Bare | Fancy Lashes at Lavish Lashes Studio
Let me tell you this much, a pair of well-groomed brows and long lashes make the world of a difference! I don’t as much time as in preparing for school as this duo cuts my “makeup time” into half. I’d like to think it makes me look effortlessly pretty after waking up too. But hey, that’s just me.. I could be wrong you know. LOL! I wish my lashes are naturally long. :”> I’ll be doing a separate post for this.. I just want to check and see how long the lash extensions last.
Last but not the least,
The thing I enjoyed most this month was being able to drive with confidence – finally! You may not know this about me but I once had a tiny “accident” (I guess you can call it that) with our motorcycle years back so it took me a while to muster enough courage to learn how to drive. Anyway, I was pretty busy with errands and other paperworks this past month and well, being able to drive made it a lot easier for me. πŸ™‚
That’s about it! Those are my top picks for the month of July, what’s yours?:)
Comment them down below and I’ll see you on my next post!
