As always, I’ve been trying a lot of products the past month and I’ve been regularly rotating the products I use to make decent in-depth reviews for you all. Well, here’s a quick rundown on the ones that stuck around and became my staple products – for weeks/months at least. Let’s start? 🙂
Estee Lauder Pure Color EyeShadow Quad
(Read review HERE)
Do I even have to elaborate on this? I’ve never felt any eyeshadow as silky as this. It such a joy to apply as it glides on incredibly smoothly and blends on rather nicely too. The pigmentation is great.. so is its staying power. For an everyday quad palette for school/work, I couldn’t have asked for more.
Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder in 02 Medium
(Read review HERE)
This is surprisingly affordable for something that makes my skin look dewy and flawless for hours. For the same result, I would’ve paid thrice the amount! The packaging is a bit of a work-in-progress but the powder is really nice. If you happen to see this brand in any mall, I strongly urge you to try this product regardless of your skin type. 🙂
L’Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X Hair Tonic
(Read review HERE)
This hair tonic is heaven sent! It’s water-based so it’s easily absorbed by the scalp and then leaving it smelling fresh and feeling light as if nothing was applied. The best part is that it’s actually pretty effective in making the hair strand stronger, not thicker! Hooray for less hair fall!
Glory of New York Total Coverage Foundation
(Read the rest of my haul HERE)
Great things really do come in small packages! This cream foundation took me by surprise. The consistency was great (easy to blend and even out), the coverage was outstanding (no need for concealer!) and best of all, it doesn’t cake! Those were just some of the highlights of this product – you’ll have to read my review to know more. Shameless plugging! LOL! Although I still have to wait for my skin to calm down before I start posting FOTD’s again. Something’s wrong with my skin right now but rest assured that it has nothing to do with this foundation. 🙂
P.S. GNY & Iris are currently on clearance sale so don’t forget to check that out! 65-75% off, baby!!
Garnier Light Complete Multi-Action Brightening Scrub
I’m now on my 3rd tube.. and for me to really repurchase this as soon as they ran out (when I have more or less 4 facial washes to review) only means one thing – this is a great facial cleanser! It foams up nicely just like how I want it and it has tiny bead scrubs to gently exfoliate the skin. I’ll review this the soonest. 🙂 I can’t believe 2 of the 8 products on this list are from my BDJ Box. I’m starting to think they have me in mind when deciding what to put in the box. LOL!
Naked Minerals Brushes
(Read the rest of my haul HERE)
A lot of you got really excited about these brushes when I first posted my haul.. well, I couldn’t blame you, they’re amazing! The royal blue handles made it look elegant while the black ferrules maintained its professional feel. The bristles are super soft too! They’re not as fluffy as I like but they’re really something. I’ll be writing a review on this soon so I won’t want to pre-empt it by putting everything here. 😛 You’ll have to wait for the review! *wink
Hemel’s Salon & Spa
It’s wrong for me to include this on my list without posting the separate hair update/experience. You won’t fully appreciate this without the other post. *facepalm! But do take my word for it; this is by far the best and most affordable place to get your hair done. SWEAR! The place looks great inside, the staff were very approachable, the price was beyond reasonable (in a good way) and there’s a buffet table!
And lastly, MINIIIIOOONNNSSS!
you can’t seriously tell me you don’t find them cute?! They’re so adorable.. okay, they’re a bit childish and pretty much useless but hey, they’re still insanely cute!!! <3 I’ve been meaning to complete the whole set for like a week now but unfortunately, they’re always out of stock in all Mcdo branches near our place. Boohoo! Ehem, I accept charity minions. jk! 😛
That’s about it! Those are my top picks for the month of June, what’s yours?:)
