This is what I miss most now that I’m accounting-related stuff consume not just my free time but everything; time, money and energy, mostly. I miss waiting for the perfect angle of the sunlight to take nice photos and then sitting in front of my laptop as I type away – this is my idea of a relaxing day. And what better way to spend the only day of the week I get to myself than to write a post on BDJ’s latest box. I have to admit that this is a bit late but then again, you can’t punish a girl for “studying hard”. I guess I’m forgiven then? 🙂
The June BDJ Box is definitely one for the books. It is a Benefit Cosmetics-Exclusive Box unlike any other. BDJ did launch another box with the same brand a couple of months before but it wasn’t this impressive (See it HERE), to tell you honestly. This time around the samples are all deluxe-sized – meaning, they’re good for more than a single use so you can really test the product AND they come in tiny versions of their original packaging which, I think, is pretty neat. <3
I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with the brand and if you’re a long-time reader, you’ve probably seen my review on the Benefit Cosmetics How To Look The Best At Everything. FYI, I never used that kit again after posting the review. But with this June BDJ Box, I’m actually rethinking my status with the brand. P.S I might be getting the full size of the Fake Up Concealer real soon. HAHA.

BDJ Box has been the constant talk of the town (online, at the very least) ever since they launched their subscription boxes (no surprise there!) so it’s kinda shocking to know that there are still those who don’t know what BDJ Box is and how it works. To those who asked me via Instagram and Facebook, here’s the jizz:
BDJ Box is a monthly subscription box wherein you pay a monthly fee of Php 580 to reserve a slot. The catch: the theme and content of each month’s box is always a huge mystery. It could be a box full of skincare products or makeup or sometimes even hair products.. you never know. It’s always a gable when it comes to subscription boxes but looking through BDJ’s previous boxes, there’s no way of losing – it’s always a win-win situation because you always get more than what you paid, money-wise. Plus, you get to try a lot of products that are usually out of your budget.. and yes, I’m taking about this particular box. 🙂
More on this Benefit Cosmetics-Exclusive Box after the jump! 😀
Big Easy (Php 2,000, 35 ml) – “Two reasons why this is bigger than ordinary BB’s first, it balances moisture and controls oil; second, the cushiony liquid-to-powder formula melts in like a cream, yet finishes lightweight and velvety like a powder. This multi-balancing complexion perfector self-adjusts to your shade to even out skin tone and conceal imperfections.”
Benefit The Porefessional PRO Balm (Php 1,600, 22 ml) – “This lightweight balm contains a Vitamin E derivative to help achieve translucent pore coverage and smoother-than-smooth skin. Suitable for all skin tones and can be used under or over make-up, this oil-free primer will smoothen any open pores to make it glowing and absolutely flawless.”
It’s Potent Eye Cream (Php 1,800, 14.2 ml) – “Say goodbye to dark circles and hello to brighter, younger-looking eyes using this eye cream. It contains peptide complex to help restore elasticity and firmness, a blend of botanical extracts including apple extract to help boost collagen, and loquat extract to help protect the skin from free radical damage.”
Stay Flawless (Php 1,900, 15.5g) – “This instant PRO-long primer acts like a magnet to lock on your foundation for 15 fresh and flawless hours. Let this invisible stick primer glide directly onto skin for optimal wear then immediately apply foundation, blending together on face for a natural-looking finish. Go longer, stay flawless!”
Benefit Fake Up Concealer (Php 1,600, 3.5g) – “This crease-control concealer – with Vitamin E and apple seed extract – hide dark circles and diffuses fine lines for a silky smooth ultra-natural look. You can also use it to touch up throughout the day. It won’t cake, crease or settle, so no more worries for your eye area!”
Lollitint (Php 1,700, 12.5ml) – “This candy-orchid tint threats lips and cheeks to a “pop” of dreamy sweetness. For a natural, rosy glow. Just brush three strokes on the apple of your cheek and blend quickly with fingertips. It is the flirtiest flush you can get from a bottle, and its smudge-proof, smooch-proof color lasts from day to night. Talk about stain power!”
Benetint (Php 1,700, 12.5 ml) – “This original rose-tint stain is kiss proof see-through color for lips and cheeks that lasts for hours. Wear it under your favorite lipstick or lip gloss to amp up the staying power of your lip color, and under a highlighter on cheeks for a healthy dewy glow. Just the sexiest flush you can get from a bottle!”
I don’t think we need a calculator to tell us that this box is worth more than the monthly subscription fee of Php 580, do we? This has got to be one of my favorites.. so far – we know the BDJ Team likes outdoing their previous boxes so I can’t say this is the best EVER. *wink! This Benefit Cosmetics-Exclusive Box is, like I said on my Instagram post, nothing short of awesomeness. <3 I can’t wait for more boxes like this. BDJ Team, keep ’em coming. 😀
