Hi everyone!
I had a very tiring day at the Gawad Kalinga Early Christmas Build but that’s a different story for a different blog post. πŸ™‚
Anyways, after the GK Build, I went to the mall to meet up with my High school friends. We had an early dinner then coffee at Figaro, like we always do. But today we stopped by National Bookstore for a quick browse.
And look what I found.. πŸ™‚
Bobbi Brown’s Makeup Manual! (Php735)  :))
I first saw this from Say Tioco Artillero’s blog and I thought it is a cheaper option than going to workshops which costs Php2500 for a 5-6hrs tutorial. And I really think books are great investment. πŸ™‚
So since my birthday is a few days, my friend, Angie, bought me this book as an early birthday/christmas gift. Sweet, right? :))
(Please ignore my complete lack of makeup. I was so tired from the GK build that I didn’t have the strength to do my makeup in the mall’s restroom)
This book really made my day!:) Tons of pictures.. and tutorials.
This will be the start of my makeup book collection.

Next on my list,
Face to face (the healing power of makeup) by Bianca Valerio
Php 795

Quick Story: I had no idea who Bianca Valerio was during the Phil. Fashion Week. But she was one of the models in the makeup room. She came in late and only asked about the look for the show. She did her own makeup faster than the other makeup artists there. Sooo pretty and talented. *drool*
** I should’ve bought this book before the Phil. Fashion Week since Bianca Valerio modeled for Designer, Pablo, during the Luxewear Collection. I could’ve had it signed.. well, maybe next time. πŸ™‚

DO ASK ME ANY MAKEUP RELATED QUESTIONS YOU HAVE THAT MIGHT BE IN THE BOOK. :))
