Good morning ladies! I’m in such a good mood today and I don’t know why. I guess we all have those days when were just unnaturally optimistic for no apparent reason.. well, today is that kind of day. Here’s to hoping that this mood stays the entire day because I can be very moody at times. HAHA!

I don’t know about you but this March BDJ Box is enough reason for me to be upbeat today. I like how this box proved that not all first impressions last. P.S The first photo was taken by accident while I was trying to figure out my new camera. I’m surprised it looks good – yeah, good enough to be the front runner of this post.

If you’re a long time reader of my blog, you’d know that I’m no longer a fan of Benefit Cosmetics, or “Benebabes” as they call it, due to my previous experience with their products. I mean, I love their old comics-themed packagings and witty labels which is exactly why I even had my tita in New York send over the Benefit Cosmetics products I bought from Sephora online around June last year. However, the first few times I used my Benefit Cosmetics sets were enough for me to turn away from the brand – for a while, at least.

But I’m very much open to giving the brand a second try.. actually, I’ve been thinking about buying something from Benefit Cosmetics for a while now just to see if the bad experience I had with their products before was an isolated case.

Well, what do you know, BDJ Box decided to make their March Box a Benefit Cosmetics-exclusive one. I guess this time is as good as any to “patch things up” with Benefit Cosmetics – the way I said that made me feel like Benefit and I broke up over the less-than-pleasing foundation experience. HAHA.

So shall we dive in and see what the March BDJ Box Benefit-exclusive holds for us? 🙂

Porefessional PRO Balm (Sample Size | Php 1600, 22ml) – “It quickly minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines for smoother-than smooth skin! It’s translucent, oil free formula complements all skin tones and helps your makeup stay put. It also contains Vitamin E derivative to protect skin from free radicals.”

Stay Flawless (Sample Size | Php 1,900, 15.5g) -“This instant PRO-long primer acts like a magnet to lock on your foundation for 15 fresh and flawless hours. This invisible stick primer glides directly onto skin for optimal wear and a natural-looking finish. With this product, you’ll need to use less foundation to get the coverage you want.”

Stay Don’t Stray (Sample Size | Php 1,400, 10 ml) – “This dual-action power primer works 360 degrees around the eyes to make concealers and eye shadows stay put. Concealers don’t crease, eye shadows stay vibrant and true. Just apply 3 tiny dots on your eyelids and under your eyes, blend, then set before putting the rest of your eye makeup.”

Agent Zero Shine (Sample Size | Php 1,600, 7g) – “Instantly minimizes shine and helps smooth the look of pores. Pores and shine don’t stand a chance with this shine-vanishing PRO powder. Just twist, tap and sweep to look fresh-faces without a race.”

Under My Spell Noelle Fragrance (Sample Size | Php 2,000, 30ml) – “This new fragrance has an exotic and glamorous woody floral scent that will surely make you enticing and intriguing to everyone around you.Be ready to receive compliments with this unexpected fragrance. Spritz on moisturized skin to help it linger longer.”

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow (Sample Size | Php 1,900, 30ml) – “This new oil free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural, luminous and healthy-looking complexion. Fret not if you got a shade that’s too light – apply it on the high planes of your face to serve a natural highlighter, while using your regular shade on the rest of you face.”

You know how at the end of my every BDJ unboxing I post I like computing for the contents’ total value just so to prove a point – that you really do get more than what you pay for. However, in this particular box, I can’t really do that. The reason is fairly obvious, too, seeing that all of the March BDJ Box Benefit-exclusive products are all but samples so I can’t measure their value correctly. I think they are worth a little over Php 580 but then again, that can’t be accurate because there’s is no mall price for samples.

This March BDJ Box Benefit-exclusive isn’t bad but it also fell short of what’s expected of it. We just got so used to getting full-sized products, that’s why. But will all that’s said and done, I’m currently enjoying my Benefit Cosmetics deluxe samples – some more than the others. <3
