Back acne is nothing but ordinary especially to teenage boys and girls. I remember my roommate a couple of years ago complaining about her “backne”, as she calls it.. too bad we didn’t discover this – or other beauty blog reviews, for that matter – earlier. How does that cliche saying goes? Better late than never, right? Well, at least now I can help my little brother with his acne-prone skin. We already found effective products for his face, now we take care of his back. 🙂

CÉLETEQUE DermoScience™ Acne Solutions Back Acne Spray has Hydroxy Acids that target unsightly back acne by removing dead skin cells build up that causes blemishes and acne breakouts. It also helps reduce acne caused by blockage of pores due to dirt and impurities.
As expected, Celeteque Back Acne Spray comes in a travel-friendly, 5-inch spray bottle that is rather convenient to tote around especially when travelling. The packaging is very simple – nothing extravagant – but it’s very efficient, if you ask me. I’d assume that most of those who suffer back acne aren’t really capable of reaching every inch of their back (unless they’re some sort of contortionists LOL!) let alone put topical medication like ointments to dry up the acne. With a spray like this, they can put on the treatment even if they can’t reach a particular area.
It has a hint of chemical scent that is almost unnoticeable so it’s not really bothersome. It dries up almost immediately after spraying; significantly faster compared to ordinary mists that are mainly composed of water probably because the former contains alcohol denat. As all of us know, alcohol evaporates faster than water. However, it’s more like water when used since it feels weightless and non-sticky once it dries.
Celeteque Back Acne Spray actually has a lot of skin-drying ingredients like the first two (except water, of course) listed above. Salicylic Acid is normally found in anti-acne products; it is especially helpful in treating acne because of its ability to penetrate the pores/follicles and remove dead skin cells from within. In short, it unclogs the pores. And then there’s Alcohol denat., like all other alcohol-containing element, it strips out the skin’s moisture. All these sounds incredibly drying to the skin. Now the next two ingredients come in to balance everything. Gluconolactone and Propylene Glycol are basically water-attracting agents that keep the skin hydrated. Thus, keep skin’s moisture level.
* Yes, I did my research. LOL! I needed to make sure it’s safe for my little bro. 🙂

The 30ml bottle lasted for a little more than a month for my brother. Yes, the photo above is obviously not me. From the photo above, it is obvious that the use of Celeteque Acne Solution Back Acne Spray greatly helped in drying out the pimples. It also prevented new ones from forming. This goes without saying but it’s extremely effective in drying out the acne-infected areas without drying the entire skin. Also, I think it is important to note that we didn’t use any other product to address his back acne problem – just wanted to stress out how effective Celeteque Acne Solution Back Acne Spray is. 🙂 Now all we have to remedy is the dark marks left by the acne.
