Hey, ladies! I’m finally feeling a bit better now. I appreciate the thoughtful tweets and messages. 🙂 I’ll try to finish as much as possible before I go out to run errands later this afternoon and also to send out the prizes for the contest. So sorry for the delay!
On today’s spotlight is Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener – another one of the products I got from Sample Room’s 2nd wave last year. If you haven’t read my older post about the Celeteque Ultra-Lifting Concentrated Serum, read it HERE.
CELETEQUE DermoScience™ Brightening Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener has Eyeseryl® Tetrapeptide Complex that effectively counters the formation of loose skin around the eyes by improving skin elasticity and fighting water accumulation, the 2 main drivers of puffiness around the eyes. It also significantly lightens the skin around the eyes for a brighter look, in just 4 weeks.*
Just a quick info, peptides are commonly utilized by different skincare products because their variety of complexes are prominently associated with (1) production of collagen that is the main building block of skin, giving the skin its smooth, and youthful appearance and (2) strengthening veins and capillaries that reduces discoloration & swelling around the eyes and other areas with thinner skin.
Like most eye creams, Celeteque Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener comes in a clean white squeeze tube with a narrow nozzle covered by a screw cap. The nozzle is just the right size to help control dispense the product and the tube itself is chubby making it easy to squeeze.
The content is milky white and very creamy. It goes on the skin smoothly without tugging but doesn’t feel greasy nor oily. It is also easily absorbed by the skin within a minute or two so a teeny tiny amount would definitely go a long way. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin though I still wouldn’t prefer to use it before makeup for personal (weird) preferences. Lastly, those who normally turn away from products with strong smell would find comfort in Celeteque Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener because it is completely scentless.
I used it for about 3 weeks last month but unfortunately, I didn’t really see any noticeable result so I went back to using my trusted eye cream, Isfren RX Magic EyeSolution EX (Read review HERE).
It may have not worked for me or I maybe too impatient to actually wait for the result but don’t worry, Celeteque Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener is NOT a total waste of money.
Over Christmas break, my brother was bugging me every time he sees me doing my night ritual right before going to sleep. He kept complaining about how the area around his puffy eyes are becoming scalier than before. I didn’t give it much thought really; I just handed him this Celeteque Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener and told him to use it every morning and before going to bed – also told him to not let his older brother see him putting on eye cream or else he’ll be teased a lot!
Anyway, after several days, I noticed that the scaliness was actually getting better!
Celeteque Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener is so moisturizing that it could hydrate even that degree of dryness – to a point that the skin starts cracking and scales form due to super dryness. It doesn’t help in brightening the area nor removing fine lines but it sure as hell does a brilliant job in moisturizing!
I am reminded yet again that a product’s efficacy really does vary from one person from another. So please buy and try products at your own discretion. What works for me may not work for you. 🙂
How about you, what’s your holy grail product when it comes to eye creams?
Comment it down below and maybe I could give it a try too! 🙂
