Primer, for me, is the most underrated makeup essential. Girls who put on make up tend to either disregard or are completely unaware of the use of a primer. I myself won’t even know that such product exists if it wasn’t for the YT royalty, Michelle Phan. LOL! I’ve always loved makeup but the passion for it was only rekindled after watching her videos. <3
Oh em! Sorry about that. I’m easily sidetracked. LOL! Anyway, back to E.L.F Eyelid Primer!
Like I said in my previous E.L.F haul and review posts, the price tag in no way compromises the product quality. I love the brand simply because it’s affordable, easy to use, delivers what it promises and did I mention affordable? LOL! I’m just trying to emphasize how cheap it is. Most of the products cost only Php 129.75! If I’m not mistaken, this is now my 3rd tube. πŸ˜‰

Directions: Apply a thin coat to the eyelid and blend in. Allow formula to dry before applying the eyeshadow.

The plastic packaging looks very simple. But mind you, it’s really sturdy.
The applicator is the same as those in normal lip glosses.

It creates a sheer layer that is slightly lighter than my skin tone to make the color of the E/S look bolder.

– It’s non-greasy and not irritating to the eyes. I should know because I have really sensitive eyes.
As you can see in the picture, it makes the eyeshadows look more vibrant by creating a light, almost sheer, color to the entire eyelids to act as base. E/S also registers better in photos because of it.
– One tube can last for a long time. Maybe 2-4 months depending on the usage. My first tube lasted for almost 3 months. Take note, I used it almost every day.
– It makes my eyeshadow last 2-3 times longer compared to E/S without any primer.
– Because of its light but almost natural shade, it can double up as a brow bone highlighter. πŸ™‚
– The packaging surprised me. I thought it will somehow break after few weeks inside my messy and crowded bag. But contrary to my initial reaction, the packaging was actually sturdy! Considering that is  only a plastic tube.
– It blends easily!
– It’s E.L.F! Of course it’s affordable. What do you expect? πŸ˜€ (Php 129.75)
– It dries up rather fast. So when you apply it, make sure to spread it at once.
Buy Again? Yes! It’s cheap but it works! What more can a budget-limited college student ask for? LOL!

My Verdict: 5/5
