I personally find gray contact lenses to be very tricky to wear. With my morena skintone, it looks overwhelming during the day (think vampire in broad daylight) but it looks good for partying during the night. So yeah, I do have a bit of a love-hate relationship with gray lenses. That’s why I usually stick with brown or black contact lenses for everyday use.
I kinda given up on gray lenses until Valerie of Dull to Doll sent me a cute pair of gray GEO lenses. This particular color and design wasn’t too eye-catching even when I wear it to school. It looks almost natural on me.

This pair isn’t one of those lenses for exaggerated doll-like effect. Like Lady Gaga on her Bad Romance MV. Seriously, that MV scared the crap out off me. I have something against weird looking dolls as you have probably guessed already. LOL! Anyway, like I said in my previous GEO lens review, I prefer 14mm lenses because they look more natural.
I had a hard time putting the lenses on during the first few tries. Both my eyes turned red so I had to keep cleaning it with my solution. But after that, it was all smooth sailing. LOL! I already got the hang of it so I find it easy to wear. Plus, I wore this for 8 hour straight last week (as in without dropping solution on my eyes or removing it for few minutes) but I didn’t notice any dryness or discomfort.
As you probably noticed from the bottle cap, I wear graded lenses. I have nothing much to say about the lens regarding this criteria as long as I can see clearly. Every thing is in HD when I’m wearing my graded lenses. LOL! (9Gag people will get that) 🙂
Ideally, this how the lenses should look like when worn.
But this is what it really looks like on me:
|I doesn’t look overwhelming even without eye makeup, right?|
The color comes across as more of a bluish gray shade than a pure gray lens but I really like it. No, like is not strong enough. Love? Yes, I don’t just like it. I love it! It’s not as noticeable during the day which is just right for me. It’s very subtle but attractive at the same time.
NOTE: If you are looking for a pair of lens that is really really gray, I suggest you try SESAME GRAY instead of this one.
Bear in mind that the natural color of our eyes affect the color of the lens. I guess my eyes have a dark blackish brown color that’s why the gray lens became a bit bluish on me.

This one is already edited… which explains the difference in color. But this one is more grayish though.
Buy Again? Yes! This is the only gray circle lens I’m fond of.
My Verdict: 4.5/5
