When I was first asked to try this out, my initial reaction was, “where was this 2 months ago?!”. I mean seriously. Remember how insanely hot it was last summer? Sheesh! If this was released like 2 months earlier or when facial mists and sprays were flying off the shelves because of the scorching hot sun, this would’ve been a huge hit. I, myself, would’ve probably used up more than 3 spray bottle over the summer. Anyway, I guess it’s better late than never, right? πŸ™‚
Product Description:
(Taken from Hayan e-brochure)
Hayan Aqua Mineral Facial Mist leaves a feel of rich moisture in our skin. It is absorbed quickly and keeps the skin moisturized all. Mist nourishes the skin with minerals from deep sea water.
How To Use:
Keep away from eyes; spray the mist 30 cm away from your face. Pat it gently for it to be absorbed.
Hayan Aqua Mineral Facial Mist claims to not only refresh the skin but also provide skincare benefits. All thanks to its marine collagen content, it is said to be rather useful in lessening skin troubles alongside its moisturizing benefits. I’m almost done with my first bottle now and I guess it’s the best time to share my two cents about the product.
If you ask me, this product is appropriately named. Mist, not spray. My normal complain about those that come in spray bottles is that they tend to spray on too much on one specific area of the face. No matter how far I place the bottle from my face, the same thing happens. This is true for both Celetque Hydrolized Moisturizing Mist (Read review HERE) and the old Krave Mist Spritz (Read review HERE).
Hayan Aqua Mineral Facial Mist comes in a transparent plastic spray bottle. What sets it aside from all other facial mists I have tried before is that the product it dispenses actually comes out as mists! The spray evenly distributes the product and then it actually becomes mists that evaporate instantly! Other sprays take a few minutes to dry – I don’t see any problem with that – but it amazes me how Hayan Aqua Mineral Facial Mist disappears immediately after touching the skin. It’s no ordinary spray bottle, all right.
This goes without saying but the awesome mist-dispensing packaging coupled with a very light floral scent is very refreshing to the skin. It makes my skin feel fresh, my makeup revived and my mood lightened – just what I need during a hot boring day! It doesn’t set makeup or help make it last longer but it does help dull, matte finishes turn to a fresh, dewy look. Plus because of its super awesome fine mist, it doesn’t ruin my makeup in any way. πŸ™‚
I don’t think it’s moisturizing enough to a point that it could substitute my usual skincare product but it does give the skin a nice boost midday. It also doesn’t help alleviate troubled skin, at least in my case, but at least it didn’t trigger or worsen it too. Knowing that this didn’t cause my breakout makes this good enough for me.
