I tested this product for what seemed like a month now and so far I can confidently say that it’s quite effective in keeping oil at bay. For your reference, I have combination oily skin. It stays on for a good amount of time – absolutely no caking provided that it was set properly. However, I did notice that it transfers a bit on my phone’s screen when the weather is extremely humid. I also need to retouch my powder every once in a while when I wear this as my base. All in all, Hayan Perfect Skin Cover BB Cream has a good amount of wear-time and quality granted that it’s no high-end product.
Even with the introduction of CC creams in the market, the popularity of its precedent, the BB cream didn’t shy even a bit. I’m a 100% BB cream girl, obviously. I prefer using BB cream on a daily basis rather than old school foundation simply because I find the latter too heavy on the skin for everyday use. Plus, BB creams have all these irresistible skincare benefits so instead of think of it as added stress to my skin; I take it as showing my skin more TLC – tender loving care. LOL! <3

Hayan BB Cream covers unwanted blemishes even without face powder. It encourages moisture retention as it spreads smoothly and blends naturally into a clear skin tone. Hayan B.B. cream promises three beautiful effects: whitening, anti-wrinkle, and sebum control.
Directions for use: After applying primer, squeeze a pea-sized amount of BB Cream and apply evenly on the skin. It can be used in place of foundation or as a makeup base.
What’s a BB Cream without its benefits, right? Aside from the basic foundation-like properties of a BB cream, Hayan Perfect Skin Cover BB Cream claims to whiten the skin and prevent signs of aging with continuous use all thanks to its active skincare-like ingredients. Also, it helps control sebum or oiliness. Plus points for not having any pungent or funky smell.
Korean BB creams often have very limited shade selection – usually 2 or 3 – so it’s a nice that Hayan BB Cream Perfect Skin Cover has 4 different shades to choose from. Of course, being morena and all, my instinct told me to get the darkest shade which is B7 or #24. The shade fits me perfectly at first but after a while it becomes a bit lighter which is why I often use a setting powder that’s a bit darker than the ones I normally use. Yes, it has the opposite effect of “oxidizing” on me.
Hayan Perfect Skin Cover BB Cream is contained in a cute pink and white tube with a reflective gold cap that twists to lock securely. To aid dispensing just the right amount of product, it comes with a hot pink narrow nozzle. The overall packaging is very travel-friendly, if you ask me. I don’t see the need to bring it around with me for retouch though. 🙂
As normal BB cream, this offers light coverage that is also buildable – at any rate, layering on more could create a gray-ish cast due to the titanium dioxide (a.k.a sun block) content. In terms of consistency, Hayan Perfect Skin Cover BB Cream is more on the watery side. It’s very light on the skin and it glides on like butter. It’s easy to spread and even out too. Although it is sticky when first applied. Consequently, it takes a while for the skin to absorb so I would suggest letting it set first before applying another layer or setting it with powder.
What I particularly like about this BB cream is that it gives me a flawless, dewy finish compared to the dull matte finish I get from Maybelline BB Stick (Read review HERE). Some might prefer the one over the other but personally, I think dewy finish gives my skin a healthy-looking glow to it. Just a word of caution though; if you have extremely oily skin, be very picky in getting any product that could only make your skin appear oilier. That being said, I would recommend this more to those with dry, normal and/or combination skin type.
