While I was packing my skincare essentials for our weekend in Baguio, I remembered the iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream loot I got during the brand briefing earlier this month. I thought, what better way to test the moisturizing ability of a product than when the skin is exposed to extreme temperature (either too cold or too hot) and/or drastic change in environment — if this keeps my skin soft, supple and prevent the cold Baguio weather, this could be “the one”.
Side note, I wasn’t planning on bringing along huge skincare jars with me so taking a couple of sachets of iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream was my best option that time. Teehee. Remind me to thank my past me when time machine is invented. That right there was a great idea. LOL!
iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream comes in a white easy-squeeze tube with light blue cap. It’s relatively handy compared to high-end products that come in heavy glass jars, though aesthetically speaking, iWhite packaging isn’t really attractive. It’s very simple but don’t let that fool you, if this was contained in the same glass jar packaging as Neutrogena Hydro Boost, this could sell for thousands because the product itself is worth that much.
So while a 50g tube retails at Php 169 and 6g sachet for Php 20, grab the opportunity to try it! *wink

As the name suggests, iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream is a water-based moisturizer refined by Bio-Nanotechnology, making it more potent to give your skin a more radiant and fairer complexion. Its particles are easily absorbed by the skin, leaving a refreshing and soothing minty feeling on your face.
Plus, it has several plant extracts like Mulberry (to reduce uneven skin tone, appearance of dark spots and helps cell regeneration), Panax Ginseng (to reduce wrinkles and fine lines by promoting collagen production for cell regeneration), Aloe Vera (to sooth and protect skin from allergies, remove stretch marks and since it naturally contains salicylic acid, it help prevents breakout) and Green Tea (that contains anti-bacterial agents to suppress acme-causing bacteria).
And because iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream is water-based, it is non sticky nor greasy. Therefore this is highly recommended for those with dry or oily skin alike as it will not promote further oiliness. Also, because of the Salicylic Acid-containing major ingredient which is Aloe Vera, this would also work well for those with acne-prone skin as it soothes the skin. So ideally iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream could be used by basically anyone. I even had my little sister use it — yup, it’s that mild, safe and very gentle on the skin. πŸ™‚

Now for the best part; the application.
At first, it appears to be a light blue, almost paste-like in consistency, cream. It feels soft and glides on the skin smoothly. After gently patting and rubbing it a bit, it becomes watery like you literally splashed water to your face. It’s refreshing and soothing at the same time. Then after a minute or so, it is  completely dry and absorbed by the skin. No oiliness nor heavy feeling. It’s so light as if nothing was even applied on. Thus, making it a great moisturizer if you plan to wear makeup afterwards. Based on my on my experience, because it is fully absorbed by the skin, it doesn’t contribute to the caking of makeup since it’s not oily to begin with.

After weeks of road testing, my skin looks and feels hydrated and fresh. The dry patches on the outer corner of my eyes lessened. iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream definitely passed the ultimate test.. with flying colors if I might add. Heck, even the extreme cold winds of Baguio could dry my skin! This honestly a great product to try. If you remember my then-holy grail Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel that ran out months ago, well iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream is almost at that level. This is a great alternative especially for those with tight budget.
