There are two things to consider when picking out makeup for summer time. First it has to be light so that the scorching heat wouldn’t melt it right off after a couple of minutes and also to allow your skin to breathe under all the makeup. Next, it has to be long-wearing and be able to withstand tremendous sweating especially under the hot and humid Philippine weather. Now that’s when this multi-tasking cheek and lip tint from Lioele comes a long — something that is sheer but still has enough tint to it to give me a healthy-looking flush of color! Read on to know more! 😉

It’s a soft and moisturizing lotion type of lovely pinky tint which has natural color and lasts for a long time and presents the pure look without spots.
Ingredients: Water, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate,Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate, Copolymer, Polysorbate 60, Squalane, Ethylhexylglyerin, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Red 27 (CI 45410:1), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Blue 1 (CI 42090)
Lioele Blooming Pop’s milky vibrant pink tint comes in a 2-inch tall, sparkly pink, sturdy glass bottle that is as bright and as playful as its content. The baby pink and white combination screams nothing but kawaii as well. As for the applicator, it is typical brush that looks a lot like those that come with nail polishes except this one is softer and gentler against the skin/lips. This kind of packaging and applicator is quite common for tint nowadays but I can still see a number of older women staring at me at common restrooms while I retouch using this. I just love seeing the look on their faces when they think that I must nuts for using nail polish on my face. LOL!
Consistency-wise, I’d say that Lioele Blooming Pop feels a lot like a runny lotion-type product. It glides on smoothly but this does come with a bit of challenge. Because it’s runny, it tends to slide around and drip when too much is used and when applied directly to the skin/lips. So the trick is to build the color slowly instead of slapping tons of products in one go. As for the smell and taste (yes, I often lick my lips), it has a slight hint of cherry – I don’t eat cherries but it really doesn’t bother me. 🙂

It gives off a subtle rosy pink glow that is noticeable yet natural-looking at the same time. It’s fairly easy to apply as it doesn’t require any tools (sponge or brushes) to apply nor do you need any background in makeup to be able to apply it properly. I use the brush to apply the product but I prefer using my clean fingers to spread and even out the color. What I like about this tint is that, unlike other tints, it doesn’t leave messy red/pink stains on my fingers provided that I am able to finish dabbing in a minute or two.
The intensity of the color depends mainly on the amount of product used and the time you leave it on a specific area. It won’t stain as fast as others so you’ll have just enough time to build your wanted shade. This is why I would recommend Lioele Blooming Pop to beginners.. like my little sister. 🙂
My main complain about my lips are the dark shade outlining it. See from the photo above? Highly pigmented lipsticks can cover it but majority of them don’t look half as natural as Lioele Blooming Pop and most don’t stay on for long. Lioele Blooming Pop helps even out the color of my lips and gives it a sheer tint of color just enough to make me look healthy. It stays on even after eating and drinking although it can be drying when used day after day so I suggest putting on a clear lip balm after putting Lioele Blooming Pop.
To those who have the same lip problem as me, apply the lip tint on the outer rim first then allow the color to sink in for 10-20 seconds. After which, spread the remaining using your clean fingers to the rest of your lips. Viola!
