The mascara fever is still on! You know how mascara is an indispensable part of my makeup routine. I can skip eyeliner, foundation or even lipstick, but NEVER mascara. Mascara is the easiest way to perk up my look and make my eyes pop without looking overly done. That combined with the love for cute anime eyes, and we got ourselves the newest L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara By False Lash!
Product Description:
Achieve an instant doll lash look with the new Miss Manga mascara by False Lash. The secret behind Miss Manga is its patented conic arched brush. This curved brush with an extra thin tip easily catches even the shortest lashes and bottom lashes, curling them from the root. Also, its Asia-specific formula delivers a perfect curl hold that is 24-hour long-lasting and 12-hour sweat proof.
Living up to its very kawaii name, Miss Manga is housed in a gorgeous metallic pink and black tube that is slightly bulkier than ordinary mascaras. What makes L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara special is its patented conic arched brush. Its curved brush with an extra thin tip perfectly cradles the lashes–even the short, thin bottom lashes! I like that it’s easy to use even for the lower lashes. The tip of the applicator, unlike the rest of the spoolie, tends to pick up product excessively so it’ll be best to wipe of the excess on the tube’s rim before application.
The formulation for the Miss Manga Mascara is more on the watery side. It is said that this is specifically made for Asian lashes which tends to point downward and look droopy. It is watery enough to prevent clumping but dries up just in time to prevent transferring to the eyelids. But because it’s slightly runny, it takes a bit longer to layer on more, in case you want to intensify the lashes. But I’d take that trade-off over clumpy lashes any day. <3
L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara in action!
Before: You can barely see my lashes sans mascara! As much as I don’t want to admit it, they’re almost nonexistent. I have short, thin lashes that point in every direction. And oh, not the mention the gaps that make it look like they’re balding. Eww!

After: My lashes are obviously longer, thicker and more evenly distributed. The tips are noticeably thin and natural looking. And this is only after 2 layers! It opens up my eyes to make me look more awake and lively. I like that it doesn’t flake or smudge as much. It stays on for hours, but still easy to remove with the proper makeup remover. You know how much I love my mascaras. *wink!

Here’s another version of my quick, 3-step makeup routine: L’Oreal Mat Magique, K-Palette Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow and mascara, of course. For this I used L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara instead of my usual Maybelline HyperCurl Mascara to turn things up a bit. Err.. plus the lip balm residue from my morning skincare routine. The result is this light, minimal-but-presentable look for morning errands. <3
