I went through this phase where I can’t stop buying things online. As in every other day different couriers drop off products I buy online. I think it lasted for like a month. And yes, all my ipon (savings) dwindled down to nothing.
Most of the things I bought was skincare products and makeups (this also explains my Baviphat purchases all the way from Incheon, Korea). I seldom buy clothes online because my size is a bit tricky. But that’s all whole new story.
Back to the topic, I bought these Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off on ebay along with other products. I can’t do a review on the other things I bought ’cause I used them all and I didn’t take pictures. :/
I bought them from a seller called bigtokyo. It costed me around Php 75 for 4 trial packs. For Skinfood products, its always safer to buy trial packs first and its always always always cheaper to buy online. Skinfood outlets in the Philippines overprice their products, I don’t know why but its almost double the price online.
The 100g Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off costs around Php450 on ebay and Php900 on Skinfood outlets. Huuuuggggeee difference!
“Black Sugar mask with rich minerals and vitamin to provide luster and smoothness to skin.”

When the label said Black Sugar I didn’t think it would be this dark. C’mon, Celline, what were you expecting. :/
Black: (close enough) Check!   Sugar: Check!   The label said it all.
See how big the sugar is? Imagine how rough that would feel like when rubbed on your face?

PRO’s
– In terms of exfoliating and removing whiteheads, blackheads and the like, Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off really does a great job.
– Leaves your skin smooth and soft.
– Its organic so I’m guessing its better for the skin compared to other masks with tons of chemicals in it.
CON’s
– The sugar is way too big and rough to be scrubbed on anyone’s face. Bottom line is, IT HURTS!
Buy Again? No. I bought this 2 months ago and I still haven’t finished the trial packs. I’m afraid the roughness would damage my skin. I’ll stick with my St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

My Verdict: 2/5
