Our hair is the crown we don’t remove. I can’t remember where exactly I read this phrase but it’s been stuck in my head ever since. I agree, completely. As in skincare, I strongly believe that it is an absolute must to take care of our hair. Before anything else, we must keep it healthy because it’s one of the first things that people notice about us and we don’t want to be labeled for something negative, of course.  When my hair is great, instead of having to iron my hair into submission every morning, I just have to air-dry it while doing my makeup and then maybe iron my bangs for a bit and then I’m good to go. This is basically why having a great hair is of an utmost importance for me – it cuts my preparation time in half!
And this common beauty concern is the target of the latest Watsons Beauty Box. I believe Watsons also released a similar box early last year but unlike most monthly subscription beauty boxes, Watsons Beauty Box is a seasonal offering (once a year, I guess) and it’s more than 6 times the size!

Last year’s box cost less than a thousand pesos and it contains a bunch of products worth about Php5,000. The same goes for this box although I’m guessing the products are worth a lot more this time around. There isn’t any official announcement as to the price or the release date for this box yet. I’ll update you if ever. πŸ™‚
These 3 humongous tubs of Salon Professional Keratin Treatments were the first to catch my attention. They’re huge and heavy! One would probably last for 3 months. The one with Milk & Honey (pink) is my current favorite – I love the smell and how rich it is. Plus, the scent actually seeps deep into my scalp that when I sweat, it still smells good. Hello, soft and luscious hair. πŸ™‚
I’ve seen a lot of great reviews about this Palty Bubble Hair Color but the shade I got (Milk Tea) is a bit too light for my preference. I’m still in the processing of persuading my little sister to give it a go for review purposes. Haha.
This is my favorite from the whole set. Towards the end of review school, I noticed that when I brush my hair after bathing, more hair is left on the bristles. This is normal given that my hair is chemically treated but the amount of hair is kinda bothersome. I’ve been using this AloeDerma Natural Hair Set (Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Tonic) for a week now and I noticed my hair did get a tad stronger. Less hair fall! The result looks promising but I still have to use it for a while longer before I write a full review on it. But so far, this is the best from the group. πŸ™‚
Here’s something interesting. A new brand will be available in Watsons soon. Diane is a nice shampoo and conditioner combo that gives your regular bath a more luxurious feel and smell. I am yet to try this but basing from the brochure, Diane has different variance – this one, Moist, is specifically for dry hair, just like mine.
A few more things to be giddy about. Hair Vitamin Morocco Argan, the one in the medicine-like bottle, are break-off capsules that contain Argan Oil hair supplements. Like the Tony&Guy Casual Forming Spray and Gatsby Moving Lock Spray, I haven’t tried it yet as I opted to try the L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil first. I apply the L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil on my damp hair to make it smoother and more manageable, and then another layer when my hair is completely dry for a nice glossy finish. I just love how it isn’t greasy on the hair. Believe me, this makes a huge difference when air-drying the hair. Love it to bits! <3
Bonus. My techie grandma would surely love this. Whenever I stay with her she’d always ask me to dye her hair black and because of old age, her hair is now super thin. Weird but I was most excited about this product. I can’t wait to bond with my lola over this quirky product. πŸ˜›
Woah! That’s A LOT of haircare products for just one box. If they are indeed going to sell this as a set, I won’t think twice about buying another one just in case. My hair is so pampered lately that if it can speak, I know it would be thanking me nonstop right now. <3 Good news for y’all! With or without the box, these products are all available individually at Watsons. Watch out for more discount and promos when you purchase any of these Watsons Hair Heroes. πŸ™‚
